With 14 nationalities, 800 sailors and more than 150 boats spread over nine series, the reputation of the Primo Cup Trophée Credit Suisse undoubtedly transcends borders. The six-day regatta held over two consecutive weekends attracted once again high-level sailors in Monaco.
A record 45 J/70s participated in the second weekend, including a crew from Manhattan Yacht Club in New York. President of the J/70 Monaco Class Association Jacopo Carrain (Carpe Diem) ranked at the top of the podium. “I am very happy with this result especially since the participation was outstanding,” said Carrain.
With a second place, Russian Mark Kaganskiy (Yanis) was a surprise as he left for the first time the lakes of the Moscow region to come sailing at sea. A member of the Yacht Club de Monaco, Stefano Roberti (Piccinina) completed the podium in third.
